I have a full head of hair at 49, and it is the GUYS who always comment on it, not the women. The men think it matters. Bullshit. It is more a question of presentation, style, grooming, not hair. Ditch the dockers and gym shoes, cut your hair tight, wear Boss and Armani and Prada shoes, some expensive jewelry, get slim, have confidence. The hair does not give me an advantage over bald guys, it is their lack of confidence that kills them.

I'm in my early 30s and my hairs receeded over the past couple of years. So far it 's only noticeable to me - even the girl cutting my hair last time said "wow your hairs so thick, you'll never go bald"...er wrong! - but I'm mildly obsessed about it. Anyway, the good news is there are some promising cures on the horizon but most likely not for another 5 years or so. Go check out the future treatment section of balding forums for more info....or better yet, don't. Just forget about it for now and see whats going on 5 years from now. Personally I wouldn't risk propecia or rogaine.
Yet look at every actor or celebrity that women consider a sex symbol. They've all got gobs of hair. A few people with extreme charisma or confidence can pull off teh bald, like Bruce Willis or Patrick Stewart, but they're one in a thousand. Balding is a big handicap for pulling hot women.
