Germany lacked smog when those were designed.
Detroit learned that smog deteriorated vacuum hoses, and so avoided them since the 1960s.

Here's a learning moment:
When a child earns money acting or modeling, the child keeps the money. Parents cannot spend it.
It's the law.

You have to understand....in the 1960s, beating up gays was a sport of teenage boys. Oh, and they were "queers," not "gays." If this happened at school, you might get caught and punished just as if you got into a fight about a girlfriend. The fact that the victim was gay was not relavent, in those days.
Sometimes, high school boys would get a few beers in them, then drive to the gay part of town and try to find a "queer" to "stomp." That's how it was.

The engineers of the 50s and 60s, with their sliderules and Chemical Rubber Handbooks, were able to dream and to design shit....the same stuff you fly in today.
Today's engineers, with their PCs and who have never held a soldering iron, just bleat that "it can't be done." (see above posts) Fucking bunch of useless pussys.
Course it can be done. It has been done.
There are thousands of supersonic aircraft flying today.
There just aren't any that can take 350 passengers, wearing Ralf Lauren button downs and chinos, who have paid $1,000 for the flight.
That CAN'T be done.
And, man cannot travel over 25 miles per hour. It's a medical fact.

You need to look at the expected lifespan, GIVEN that you have already lived to age "x".
Average lifespan takes into account all those early deaths. And, as you will find out, lots of your friends and coworkers will die ~ 50.
Whatever, gramps. Argue that its not fair after you croak at age 73
73 is OK with me.
Hope you make it, sonny.

The food is that non-caloric.
I eat gourmet food like Vindaloo. Costs $50 per plate.
You cannot afford.
Yeah, I can.
And I did.
Ate expensive whale and lots of shit.
I found the food in Japan to be a disappointment. And boring, after a month.

Average lifespan for a man is 73. You likely have about 10 years, according to all known statistics.

Very true.
The scheduled time from Sacramento to LA was ~ 1 hour in the 1970s. This was on a balls-out 737 or DC-9.
Now, it's 1 hour 20 minutes on a lazy 737.
Oh, and I used to fly this route in 45 minutes, gate to gate, routinely when the winds aloft were favorable.

If it's a weekend thing, then probably OK investment (but, a rental in town would be better).
Right now, all newly-purchased real estate is a good investment.
