But ah...i could not fail to notice that Lara Logan is like the youngest of the bunch now at 60 minutes. I mean we have: Pelley (53 years old) Mr. Kroft, 66; Ms. Stahl, 70; and Bob Simon, 70. None have signaled any plans to retire soon. (Morley Safer, 80, is technically part-time, though he has reported 11 segments this season, according to CBS News.)
I applaud Fagers efforts to rejuvenate the show but honestly...

And people here talked for much more than just Lara Logan. We had fascinating discussions about sexuality, rape and different perspectives on political and societal issues. That is why this thread has attracted so many people. We did not talk about the gory stuff all the time. Just look at vicious board or other places where only the rape/assault was discussed. They kinda shriveled and died.

I do not understand. I mean: First you postulate that i only can love somebody when i yearn for physical intimacies with that person. That is not true. Ask your sister when you have one or maybe a woman friend you do not want to have sex with.
Secondly you postulate that loving someone means yearning to be somebodies servant. That is in effect submission and masochistic. Hello? I can love somebody without wishing him/her to be my freaking boss!

How I or others honor or respect Lara Logan will probably not be to your liking most of the time but that does not mean we are not liking or loving her.
The problem with the CBS website is that it is heavily moderated. And when i say heavily i mean it. They are so itchy with the erasing that you cannot know what posting will survive in the comments. Also the discussion there are more than a little lifeless. Actually i do not think CBS or the major networks fully grasp or even want the internet. That is not surprising because essentially CBS is run by people in their forties or fifties. Sometimes in their sixties. I mean even Lara Logan herself seems to be more than skeptical about the internet LOL.
